In collaboration with the Research Foundation, Universitätsklinikum Erlangen offers a series of lectures on interdisciplinary topics, free of charge and open to the public. Each semester, approximately 3,000 citizens attend the lectures. They are generally held by the chairs and heads of department at Universitätsklinikum Erlangen and are well established as one of the highlights in the diaries of everyone interested in health care in the region. The topics are announced in the local press at the beginning of each semester.
